Our Vision

Oak Avenue fans often voice that OA’s music is connected and rooted in real life through lyric and melody. The band believes that if they keep the real rooted nature of their music, they can invoke an emotional journey of highs and lows through music.  The band consist of long term and new friends; Steven Brown (guitar), Matt Neagle (guitar), Mason Mollere (drums)  Hifey Gallivant (vocals) and John Walden (bass). 

  Being the newest of the group, Mason and John both knew after a short time working with OA that they were doing something never done in local music before. These musical breakthroughs relieved any uncertainties the band had about their new line-up. Now, three years together, the band continues to hone in on their signature sound while still tailoring to the local music scene in Southern Louisiana.
